Classes

 

We believe that everyone can and must do yoga! So we have different levels and types of classes that cater to all; men and women, children and the elderly. We have private classes too for people who need special attention. Our classes are an hour each:

 

Adults

For those who are new to yoga or those who are coming back to the practice after a break, this is the class for you!

Basic Level Classes:
For those who are new to yoga or those who are coming back to the practice after a break, this is the class for you!

Intermediate Level Classes:
These classes are for regular practitioners who have attended basic classes regularly for a period of time and are committed to taking their practice to the next level both physically and philosophically.

 

Seniors

This class is specifically designed for men and women who have slowed down due to age and infirmity. It aims to keep their spirits high, their bodies strong, coordinated and flexible so that they may enjoy independence, freedom of movement and a good quality of life in their golden years.

Kids

Our very popular kids classes are active, challenging and loads of fun! The smiles on their faces say it all. Deep backbends, kicking-up into handstands, strong arm balances, hanging upside-down on the ropes, the kids do it all!

Every class has a philosophical section at the end where verses of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras are chanted and discussed.

Our kids also perform every year at the Mat & Beyond Yoga Studio “International Yoga Day Charity Event” as well as Guru Purnima.

Private Classes

They are designed specifically in accordance to the need of the individual, depending on the unique challenge faced; mental (anxiety, depression etc) or physical (back pain, inability to sit or stand etc).

 

Mont Kiara Yoga Classes
